AwardLS Learning Management Sites hold certain information about you for service and security reasons and uses your data as set out below.

Our Legal basis for using your personal information is in order to deliver our obligations to you as a user of our services.
We use your personal information with your consent, and we will request this consent when you first access our Learning Management Sites. You always have the right to withdraw your consent. Should you wish to withdraw your consent you should email admin@awardls.com
Data held by our Learning Management Sites (LMS)Data held by our LMS’ includes your name, email address, and username.
Our LMS’ logs contain detailed information about user activity, including the date and time of when specific information was viewed and/or updated, the address of the machine from which the access was made, the browser identification information and information about the referring web page. Logs are used to create summary statistics which may be made publicly available. Summary statistics do not include personal data.
Information contributed by users of our LMS’ to user profiles, forums, and the uploading of content by the user is held within our LMS’.

The Award Learning Services LMS system administrators have access to all information stored within our LMS’ for the purposes set out above.
We work with a range of technology suppliers to help us provide our LMS. If we use services provided from outside the UK, where UK data protection law might not apply, we ensure that our suppliers protect our users personal data and apply the same processes as our UK based administrators.
Where our Learning Management Sites (LMS) data is stored
Our LMS’ data is stored within third party cloud systems, where ‘cloud systems’ refers to data centres owned and operated by technology suppliers.
We work with a range of technology suppliers to help us provide our LMS’. If we use services provided from outside the UK, where UK data protection law might not apply, we ensure that our suppliers protect our users personal data and apply the same processes as our UK based administrators.
Our Learning Management Sites (LMS) data retention
Information and data uploaded to our LMS’, may be retained indefinitely.
Our LMS’ data is either backed up at a facility managed by Award Learning Services Ltd, or within third party cloud systems, where ‘cloud systems’ refers to data centres owned and operated by technology suppliers. The backups are held for the purpose of reinstatement of the data, e.g. in the event of failure of a system component.
How to request a copy of, or deletion of your data on Our Learning Management Sites
You may request a record off your personal data that we store, and or request deletion of that data. To do this you should contact admin@awardls.com
How our Learning Management Sites (LMS) administrators use your information
To provide you with support, our administrators will need to look at your data held on the system, including files in your personal areas and may need to perform any of the following:
Reproducing/investigating your issue/problem or when forming a response
Navigate and interact with the LMS using your account. To do this our administrators may need to edit or delete data and will ask for your permission to do this
Duplicate your data and transfer it into another systems for testing purposes
Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Please review this policy periodically for any updates.
